Louis W. Shellabarger

SHELLABARGER, Louis W. Age 96, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; parents, Wheeler and Reva; and brothers, John, James, and Thomas. Louis is survived by his sons, Randall (Shelly), Roger (Kathy); daughter, Bonny (Buddy) Johnson; grandchildren, Josh, Chad (Shanta), and Robin Shellabarger and Leah, Brooke, and Kevin Johnson; great grandchildren, Liv and Nora; and many beloved family and friends. He was a proud veteran of World War II serving 32 months in the African and European Theaters and retired from NCR. The family would like to give thanks to the staff of St. Leonard for the special care given to Louis during his time there. A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20 from 10AM to 12PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 12PM with Charles Wiltrout officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria. If desired, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
