Lula Ann Sullivan

Age 73 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton.

Lula was born on March 14th, 1950 in Redbud, Harlan County, KY to Josephine West and Henry “Buck” Thomas. She was welcomed in death by her parents; her brother Henry W. Thomas, sister Sophia A. McCall, three children Little Donnie, Sophia Mingo, and John Henry.

Lula loved with a passion. She was happiest surrounded by friends and family. She sure loved to talk to those she considered dear to her heart. She was a caregiver and took pride in her home. She loved crafts, thrifting, being out in the garden and working in her flower beds. She was also an avid rock collector and loved pigs.

Lula will be missed terribly by the love of her life Jack Rickett; brother Harold Galloway of Somerset, KY; daughter Theresa Sullivan of Dayton, OH. She was Nannie to Casey Fetters (Dustin), John, Jr., Cierra Parker (Carlos), Donnie Parker all of Dayton, OH; little John Henry of Eaton, OH, Ashley Hines (Brandon) and Bridget Keith (Michael) of Somerset, KY. She had 16 great grandchildren and dozens of nieces and nephews that will carry her memory.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral to begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside three of her children at Bear Creek Cemetery in Dayton, OH. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
