Lynda E. Bragg, born April 2, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She retired from Montgomery County after 32 years of dedicated service. Lynda was a devoted Christian with a great sense of humor, who loved to travel and cherish time spent with family.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Byrd; daughter, Joni Lee; son, Mike (Shelly) Bragg; grandchildren Danny Lee (Brittany), Destini, Mikie (Kristina), Dawn, Zac (Amanda), and Ashlee (Eric); along with 18 great-grandchildren. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Jep and Grace Wyrick, five brothers, four sisters, her first husband Milford Bragg, and great-grandson William Rieder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM all at Rogers Funeral Homes, 324 W Main St, New Lebanon, Ohio. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
