Mamie Irene Rummel

Rummel, Mamie Irene 79, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home. She was born September 29, 1942 to Thomas Morgan and Edith May (Rogers) Yarber. Mamie worked at the Dixie Diner in New Lebanon for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, she absolutely loved to dance and listen to music. Mamie’s favorite musicians included Patsy Cline and Conway Twitty. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Campbell and Pamela (Taravris) Rummel; siblings, Ronnie Yarber, Bethel Yarber, Cliff Yarber, Joan Morgan; grandchildren, Amanda, Roa (Joey), Donald, Jaden, Jordan; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Rummel; Son, Michael Mays; siblings, Mary, Thelma, Betty, Thomas, and Johnny. Visitation for Mamie will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the funeral service to be held at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Trissel Cemetery.
