DEISHER, Margaret Rauch (nee Clark), age 96, passed away peacefully March 18, 2013. She was born October 16, 1916 in Ft. McKinley to Andrew and Blanche (Turner) Clark, and was a graduate of Fairview High School. She was a member of Ft. McKinley United Brethren, now United Methodist, Church most of her life, teaching Sunday school there in her youth. She earned an Executive Secretarial degree from Miami-Jacobs College in 1935. After the untimely death of her husband Lester she raised their 3 children and sent them all to college. She later cared for her widowed mother and aunt, taking them into her home where they lived their last years in contentment. She retired from the State of Ohio, Division of Safety and Hygiene in 1980. She is preceded in death by husbands Lester Rauch in 1960 and Fred Deisher in 2005, and by her sister Janet Smith in 2007. A loving wife and mother, Margaret always put others first, and was happiest when she was doing things for other people; she was always cheerful and optimistic. Survived by children Gary (Beth) Rauch of Boulder CO, Marcia Rauch of Fenton MO and Carole (Dave) Medlar of Tipp City; grandchildren Peter (Tanya) Rauch of Ashland MA, Michael Rauch of Tiburon CA, Andrew Medlar of Chicago, Ann (Lance) Hill of Sagamore Hills OH, and Mark (Heather) Medlar of Cincinnati; 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Bunn of Miamisburg; and cousin Fred Clark of Dayton. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 21 at 1:30PM with Chaplain David Snowden, officiating at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
