Margaret Frances (Dexter) Poole

POOLE, Margaret Frances (Dexter) Age 98, of Brookville, formerly of Johnsville, died on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was born October 15, 1915 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Frank and Lydia (Burkle) Dexter. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Poole; and son, Richard Poole. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Grantham; sons, Lawrence (Carol Ann) Poole and Steven Poole; daughter-in-law, Judy Poole; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Grothjan. Margaret was a 1st grade teacher for the Dixie Schools for many years and enjoyed gardening and watercolors. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 6PM to 8PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11AM on Friday, February 28 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria with Pastor Therese Lehman, officiating. A reception will follow at Brookville Community United Methodist Church, 114 Hay Ave., Brookville, Ohio 45309.
