Margaret Elizabeth Worrell

WORRELL, Margaret Elizabeth Age 92, a resident of Farmersville for 70 years, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Anna Dunnier; husband of 56 years, George W. Worrell; son, Bob Worrell; and granddaughter, Abby Worrell. Margaret is survived to cherish her loving memories by her son, Gary (Jayne) Worrell; daughter-in-law, Karen Worrell; 3 grandchildren, Sam and David Worrell, and Kelly (Tony) Marascio; 9 great-grandchildren, Tiffanie, Tyler, Evan, Eryn, Delaney, Ethan, Ella, Ava, and Brayden; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Margaret was a graduate of Brookville High School in 1937. She worked at NCR for 5 years to support the WWII War effort and also worked 15 years at Dayton Daily News as a counselor and relay route. Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon, with Pastor Patty Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Holp Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Farmersville United Methodist Church in memory of Margaret.
