Marie Florence (Leis) Kopp

Kopp, Marie Florence (Leis) 96, of West Milton, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Dayton to Wilbert and Ruth (Sarver) Drake. Marie was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She loved to travel. Winston and Marie would travel all over, even going to Alaska and Hawai’i. When she was home, she always had plans going throughout the day. She would work on her flower beds and vegetable gardens at her home or she would go out and play euchre or pinochle at the senior center. Marie absolutely loved Christmas, and loved to spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed. Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Wilson, Karen (Bill) Ward, Anita (Dave) Fisher; grandchildren, Rusty (Dottie), Jeff (Rosemary), Annette, Melissa (Ron), Nikki (Mark), Travis (Tiffany), Chad (Krista), Nathan; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; sister, Midge Wetz; brother-in-law, Wayne (Nancy) Kopp; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, and the father of her children, Hubert Leis, Jr.; her 2nd husband, Winston Kopp; parents; and brother, Norman Drake. Visitation for Marie will be held on February 10, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon, with the funeral service to begin at 1:30. Interment to follow at Holp Cemetery.
