Marie Dillon Starnes

STARNES, Marie Dillon

Age 92 of Trotwood, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Marie was born in Wayne County, KY on July 30, 1930 to her parents, John M. Dillon and Sue (Bratton) Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Starnes; 3 brothers, Leo F. Dillon, James H. Dillon, and Billy Dillon; and half-brothers, Charlie and Jason Dillon.

Marie is survived by her son, Eddie K. (Diane) Starnes; daughter, Elaine (Bruce) Miller; half-siblings, Lana, Linda, Lila, and Larry Dillon; sister-in-law, Betty Starnes; granddaughter, Olivia Starnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Marie was a graduate of the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing (1951). She worked 37 years as a Registered Nurse and retired from the Dayton Veterans Administration Center. Marie also enjoyed reading, arts & crafts, including making Christmas stockings.

Visitation 12-1pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022  at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, 315 Richmond St., Lancaster, KY 40444. Interment will follow at Old Paint Lick Cemetery.
