Marie L. Wells

WELLS, Marie L. “Mimi” Age 78, of New Lebanon, crossed over Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was born October 4, 1940 in Lampasas, Texas to the late C.I. and Margaret (Kneupper) LaBounty. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Vernon “Paw Paw” Wells; and grandchildren, Timothy Green and Elizabeth Wells. She is survived by her children, Catherine Peck, Frances “Pinky” Suttle, Theresa “Tracy” Green, Martha Hiner, and David Wells; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Louis LaBounty, Fredrick LaBounty, Elizabeth “Betty” Dennis, and William “Billy” LaBounty. Marie was a prize-winning quilt maker, an avid golfer, and had an immense love of animals. She also enjoyed cooking, trivia, traveling, reading, and gardening.
