Marion Howard Birt

BIRT, Marion H. Returned to his heavenly home on October 10, 2019. Marion was born to the late Howard M. Birt and Flora Ellis (Bowling) in Dayton, Oh on September 14, 1945. Marion was baptized on January 3, 1954 at Dayton Christ Temple Light Street. He was a faithful member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church for more than 20 years where he served as a missionary. He also retired from General Motors as a welder after 22 years. Marion was proceeded in death by his parents: step father: Clarence Ellis, Brothers: Larry, Albert (Linda) and Jerry (Ruby) Birt, Son: Mark Birt. Marion is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Birt (Scroggy), Sister: Teresa Long, Son: Jon Christopher Birt, Daughter: Robyn (Sam) Feeman, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, 3241 Denlinger Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45406.
