Marjorie J. (Gearhart) Roesch

ROESCH, Marjorie J. (Gearhart) Age 90 of New Lebanon, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Marjorie was born on December 20, 1926 to the late Herman and Ruth (Hawvermale) Root. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband of nearly 40 years, Ralph Gearhart, and sister Carol Miller. She is survived by husband of 24 years, Dale L. Roesch; 4 children, son Randy (Sharon) Gearhart, daughters, Debbie (Mike) Price, Joanne (Charlie) Hypes and Teresa (Rick) Leonard. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren who she loved and spent much time with, Todd, Kris, and Eric Gearhart; Tony and Nicki Price; Jason and Wes Hypes; Lindsey Schafer; Kelly Garno; and Jennifer Leonard; also 19 great-grandchildren; as well as sister Lois Blosser and brother Ron Root. Marjorie is also survived by Dale’s family who she loved as her own; daughters, Judy (Karl) Moran, and Cathie (Charles) Hofmann; daughter-in-law Pam (late husband Steve Roesch), and grandchildren, Jeff, Jeremy, Josh, Alyssa, Nathan, and Sarah. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-8 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at The Brethren Church of New Lebanon, 32 S. Church St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Interment will follow the service at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Marjorie.
