Marjorie A. (Reed) Seitz

SEITZ, Marjorie A. (Reed) Age 88 of Dayton, OH, formerly of Duluth, MN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born in Duluth on Aug. 7, 1925 to her parents, Samuel & Laura (Segal) Reed whom preceded her in death, along with her husband, Luke C. Seitz; siblings, Shirley Kobus, Dorothy Hermanson, and Frank Reed; and uncle, Tony Variano. Marjorie is survived by her 2 daughters, Pamela (Michael) Seitz Copp, Lori Ullmer; son, Mark "Torkle" Seitz; 4 grandchildren, Sarah & Laura Copp, and Jamie & Nick Ullmer; 1 great-grandchild, Ava Ullmer; special friends, Tim Payne, Jim Cox, Joan Daugneaux, Princie Dunn, Haleigh Spicer, Tyler Ballou, & Matthew Slavsky; and many more nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends. Marjorie graduated from Duluth Central High School, the University of Dayton, and St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Medical Technology. She also taught and retired as a M.T. (A.S.C.P.) from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Medical Technology. Marjorie loved her family, enjoyed cooking, music, gardening, and books. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. Trotwood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45416 with Father James Seibert officiating.
