Mark Simons Burke

Mark Simons Burke, age 76, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, while residing at Beavercreek Health & Rehab. Born on August 18, 1948, Mark grew up in Trotwood, Ohio, and later lived in Dayton and Union, Ohio.

Mark was a man who never met a stranger and lived with a true zest for life. A lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds, he loved classic rock, fishing, and playing cards. He found great joy in coaching his kids in sports and cheering them on from the sidelines.

He is survived by his children: Melanie Castle (Chris), Kelly Burke (Leah), Jennifer Hickerson (Jeff), and Amanda Burke. He was a proud grandfather to Taylor, Korey, Ryker, Finley, Cameron, McKenna, Scotlyn, and Myles.

Mark will be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon, Ohio. If desired, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of American in memory of Mark. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
