Marlene L. Rung

Marlene L. Rung, age 80 of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Medical Center of Aurora, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 6, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Violet M. Stemple-Hogan and Worley E. Stemple.

Marlene was a former Administration Assistant and Receptionist for Liberty Insurance Co.

Preceded in death by her brother Robert Stemple.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert “Bobby” Rung, her son Matthew Richards and wife Raine, her daughter Rebecca Davis and husband Robert, her 2 brothers Mark Stemple and wife Norma, and John Stemple, her sister Janice Bennett, her sister-in-law Charlene Stemple, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Rogers Funeral Homes, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Burial will follow at Parish Cemetery in Brookville.
