Martha (Krug) Farmer

FARMER, Martha (Krug) Age 101, of Trotwood went to be with the Lord February 10, 2015 surrounded by her family. Martha was born in Dayton Ohio. Martha was living in Brookhaven Retirement Community. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Krug. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Farmer; daughter, Ruth Johnston of Calif.; & Brother and sister-in-law, William and Margaret Krug. Survived by her daughter, Nancy Curry; brother & sister-n-law, Dr. Robert Krug & Dr. Aurelia Scott of Me.; grandchildren, Keith Johnston (Sharon) of Calif., Tina (Ed) Mathews, and Tamara Lugabihl; and great grandchildren, Chad & Sarah Lugabihl, Jacob (Jennifer) Johnston & Gabe Johnston of Calif,; and many niece and nephews. Martha graduated from Roosevelt High School, was Past Matron of Dayton Chapter #125 in 1947. She was a member of Trotwood United Church of Christ and Madison Grange. She volunteered at Good Samaritan for 12 years. A celebration of life will be at Rogers Funeral Home, Trotwood at 3PM on Friday, February 13. We will receive family and friends from 2-3pm with a service following. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Trotwood United Church of Christ or Hospice of Dayton.
