Marvin Eugene Bowman

BOWMAN, Marvin E. Age 84, of Englewood, formerly Trotwood, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 7, 2013. He was born on September 4, 1929 in Trotwood to the late Paul and Mildred Bowman. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 60 years, Betty; and brother, Dean. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ann Lowery, Carolyn Sue (Steven) Robison, Evelyn Mae Bowman, and Paula Jean Hall; son, Paul Eugene Bowman; grandchildren, Billy Ray, Steven II, Michelle, Daniel, and Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Abri, Steven III, Piper, Phoebe, Wyatt, Aliyana, Meranda, Kearsyn, and Kobe, and many more family and friends, After 23 years of service, Marvin retired from Meadow Gold Dairy and then went to Trotwood-Madison High School as a janitor. He liked to hunt and fish, however, his children and grandchildren gave him the most enjoyment in life. The Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10 from 7PM to 9PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood with a Masonic Service to begin at 8:30PM. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 11 at 10AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dick Robbins, officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marvin's memory may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
