Mary M. Castle

CASTLE, Mary M. Age 93 of New Lebanon, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Cottages of Clayton. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 30, 1924 to her parents, Donald and Blanche Bealor who preceded her in death along with her husband, Charles F. Castle; son, Michael Castle; brother, Donald Bealor; and sister, Wilma Hendren.. Mary is survived by her 3 sons, Charles (Sue), Roger, and Duane Castle; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Chad, Sarah, Chris, and Amber; 7 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia, Preston, Kayleigh, Cheyenne, Chandler, and Charli; and sister, Martha Lilly of Kansas City, MO. Mary worked hard as a mother and homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank both staffs at the Cottages of Clayton and VITAS Healthcare for their tremendous care and support. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM with funeral to follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Nephew Daron Lilly officiating. Interment will follow the service at Trissel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VITAS Healthcare in memory of Mary.
