Mary Almeda (Smith) Farmer

FARMER, Mary Almeda (Smith) Age 92, formerly of Orlando, FL, passed away on April 14, 2014 at Troy Care Center. Born January 14, 1922 to Charles and Florence (Eyler) Smith in Trotwood, OH. Mary was a 1940 graduate of Madison High School- Trotwood and was a lettered member of Madison's 1st girls' basketball team. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Thomas Howard Farmer (1996), and sisters, Donna Saunders and Shirley Chronaberry. Survived by daughters, Jill Martin, Kathy (Steve) Adams, and Jackie (Chris) Rice; granddaughter, Paula (Sean) Jones; grandson, Mason (Megan) Adams; great grandson's Jordyn and Jakob Huffman, Ashton Jones, and Kyan Adams; step grandsons, Cole and Conner Jones; great-great granddaughter, Roo Isla Huffman; and grandson-in-law, Todd Huffman. The Visitation will be on Thursday, April 17 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Brookville.
