Mary Jean Wilson

Mary Jean Wilson, age 78, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2024. Born on November 29, 1945, in Ignacio, Colorado, Mary Jean had a generous spirit and unwavering dedication to her family.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Charlie, with whom she shared a life full of joy and cherished memories. Mary Jean was also predeceased by her mother, Millie Grebence, her sisters, Robin Grebence and Ernestine Martinez, and her brother, Anthony Martinez. She is survived by her son Charlie and his wife Andrea; her grandchildren, Samantha, Marissa and her wife Ashley, Kara, Kendall, and Alexa; and her great-grandchildren, Brody, Charlie, Carson, Jared, and Wynter. She is also survived by Sam and Brittany Gilbert, and their children, Dorothy and Gus, Mary Jean's brothers, Jimmy Pinelle and his wife Babe and daughter Jackie, Anthony Pinelle and his wife Tonya, Steven Grebence, Brandon Grebence, and her sisters, Kim Grebence, Margie Martinez, Shirley Martinez, and numerous family members and friends.

Mary Jean didn't know a stranger and enjoyed her many years of work at McMaken's where she made numerous friends. She was also a member of the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, providing her with strength and comfort. Family was the cornerstone of Mary Jean's life. She loved spending time with her family. She relished in attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Mary Jean also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading a good book, spending time with friends, and the occasional trip to the casino. Her commitment to her loved ones left a mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. A service will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Mary Jean Wilson. Her life was a journey of love, commitment, and joy, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with Memorial service to begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
