Mary Jeanette Boughan

BOUGHAN, Mary Jeanette Age 86, of Trotwood, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012. She was born on March 13, 1926 in Lima, Ohio to her parents Clyde & Cecil Elliot whom preceded her in death along with her husband, Gerald. Jeanette is survived by her four children, David Boughan, April (Greg) Ross, Judy (Eric) Brown, and Steve (Cynthia) Boughan; her seven grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristen Boughan, Benjamin and Shelby Ross, Byron, Ethan, and Jared Brown. She was a member of the women's field hockey team and Epsilon Kappa Tau Sorority at Otterbein College and graduated with a business degree in 1948. She married Gary Boughan in 1949 while working together at the Lima News. Jeanette was a faithful member of the Trotwood United Church of Christ for over forty years and sang in the choir. She had a wonderful sense of humor and cherished her lifelong friendships. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at Trotwood United Church of Christ, 18 N. Broadway, with Pastor John Barnett officiating. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Dayton National Cemetery.
