Mary Ellen (Sodders) Shepard

SHEPARD, Mary Ellen (Sodders) Age 83, of Farmersville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2014. She was born on September 20, 1930 in Brookville to the late Donald and Versie Sodders. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Justus; granddaughter, Lydia Grace Levine; sister, Miriam Wallen; and brother, Bernice Sodders. She is survived by her children, April A. (Darrin) Rankin, Dawn Y. (Carl "Buddy") Lavine, and Todd R. (Michele) Shepard; grandchildren, Brandon (Cassie) Meyers, Solomon Lavine, Elijah Lavine, Ezra Lavine, and Aiden Shepard; brother, Donald Gary (Karen) Sodders; and many more family and friends. Mary enjoyed crochet and spending time with family and friends. The Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12 from 10AM to 12Noon at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 12Noon with Pastor Gary Wood, officiating. Burial will follow at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca.
