Mary K. (Tobias) Tuvell

TUVELL, Mary K. (Tobias) age 83 of New Lebanon, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton after her gallant fight against cancer. Mary had worked for 18 years with the Jefferson Twp. Schools and was a member of the Brookville Senior Citizens Club and the Rainbow Card Club. She also was a lifelong and faithful member of the Slifer’s Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her dear husband of 40 years Leonard in 1986 and her son Jack. Mary’s family includes her sons George and his wife Janet Housenick-Tuvell, Leonard Tuvell Jr., two grandsons, four granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, a brother Charles (Norma) Tobias and many more relatives and very special friends. A evening celebration of Mary’s life will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at the ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St, New Lebanon with Pastor Coleen Beasecker officiating. Burial will follow the next morning at 10:30 AM at the Holp Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. If desired, contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mary.
