Maxine Dishman, born on October 19, 1938, in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Dayton. She lived a life dedicated to her family, especially her children, and cherished every moment spent with them.

Maxine built a fulfilling career at Baxter before retiring to focus on what truly mattered to her—her family. She had a passion for playing the lottery, often employing her own unique system, which brought her joy and excitement. Cooking was another love of hers, filling her home with warmth and delicious aromas.

She is survived by her loving sons, James (Paula) Dishman and Thad (Misty) Dishman, and daughter Tonya (Frank) Peters. Maxine also took pride in her grandchildren Leyna, Jaimie, Chad, Maili, and Koa, and was a delighted great-grandmother to Brixon and Journey Sky.

Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Leonard, and her daughter, Kimmie.

A visitation will be held in her honor on November 24, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Homes, located at 324 W Main St, New Lebanon, OH 45345. Burial will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery.
