Mayno Rebecca Zumbrun Denlinger

DENLINGER, Mayno Rebecca Zumbrun Age 99, of Friendship Village, passed away Feb. 16, 2011. She was born to Roy and Ethel Zumbrun Oct. 17, 1911 in Madison Twshp. Trotwood, Ohio. She graduated from Brookville High School and Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana. She was a member of the Trotwood Church of the Brethren for over 60 years, as well as a long time member of The Dayton Woman’s Club, the Miami Valley Golf Club and the College Woman’s Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dr. Arthur J. Denlinger, who passed away in 1983, two sisters, Dorothy Singer and Alberta Warner Haverstick, a niece, Dee Shellabarger and a nephew, Steven Warner. She is survived by nephews, John Singer (Mary) of Beavercreek, Ohio and Michael (Connie) Warner of Dayton, Ohio and by two nieces Rebecca Rogers of Plainsboro, New Jersey and Julia (Martin) Klaper of Charleston, S.C., and beloved relatives and friends. A celebration of Mayno’s life will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at the Trotwood Church of the Brethren. Pastor Paula Bowser will be officiating.
