Mckinley Polston, Sr.

POLSTON, McKinley Sr. Age 98, of New Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday December 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna of 54 years; infant daughter, Ester; sister, Myrtel Soter; brother, John Polston; and daughters-in-law, Anna Polston and Brenda Polston. He is survived by his children, Ann and Denny Bingham, McKinley Polston Jr., Cherry and Phil Morris, Sharon and Jay Short, Beverly and Dale Daugherty, Faith and Jay Cymbalak, Joel Polston and Doug Sterling, Joelene and Steve Williams, and Craig and Marcia Polston; sister, Gertrude Crago; 28 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. He loved gardening, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family. Visitation will be Tuesday December 20 from 11AM to 1PM at First Baptist Church of New Lebanon, 335 S. Church Street, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Brookville.
