Melvin A. "Tony" Glueckert

GLUECKERT, Melvin A. Sr. "Tony" Age 75 of Brookville, formerly of New Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born on Oct. 18, 1938 to his parents, Henry & Elizabeth Glueckert, whom preceded him in death, along with 5 brothers, George, Elmer, Donald, Eugene, and Jerry Glueckert. Tony is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda K. (Shannon) Glueckert; 3 children, Teresa Williams, Jennifer (Dan) Severt, and Melvin Jr. (Shelley) Glueckert; 6 grandchildren, Jerry (fiancé Shelby) and Jeremy Williams, Grace, Eryn, and Tyler Glueckert, and Troy Severt; sister, Mary Lou Noel; brother, Terry (Jeanne) Glueckert; also several nieces and nephews. Tony retired from Dayton Daily News after 43 years as a pressman, attended Stivers H.S., and was a member of Local Union #128. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 11:00am – 12:00pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, OH 45345.
