Melvin "Mel" Hall

Hall, Melvin “Mel” Age 82 of Brookville, went to be with the Lord on the eve of Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Melvin was born in Paintsville, KY on Dec. 16, 1933 to his parents, Challie & Nannie Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sandra Joe. Melvin is survived by his wife, Wanda Hall, of 59 years; five children, Charlotte (Alan) Fritz; Debbie (Rick) Carpenter, Chris (Rick) Lloyd; Adam (Annette) Hall, and Chuckie (Angie) Reynolds. He leaves 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Sabrina, Ben, Dan, Clinton, Shane, Krystal, and Katie; and 14 great grandchildren. Melvin proudly served in the United Sates Navy from 1952 to 1960. Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment with Military honors will be held at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Melvin.
