Mervin Marshall

Mervin Marshall, age 88, went home to the Lord on July 11, 2024. He was born in Indiana and raised in Ohio. The Villages, Florida was his home for the last 22 years.

He is survived by Julia (Judy), his wife of 68 years, daughter Cynthia, son Randy (Beth), daughter Crystal Allen (David), and son Richard (Jane), seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He leaves behind a brother Jerry and a sister Vivian Hiller, a brother-in-law Gerald Busch, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Herschel, mother Hattie, and sister Yvonne. He was a foster parent to 20 foster children.

Mervin loved to travel, play cards, bowl and swim. He retired from Mar-Con Tool Co. He was a past president of Eastview Pool, a Red Cross Volunteer and active member of North Lake Church where he was Head Usher.

Celebration of Life will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 W. Main St. New Lebanon, OH on August 24, with visitation at noon and services at 1:00 pm.

An additional Celebration of Life will be held in the Villages, Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Lake Presbyterian Church, 975 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, Florida 32159.
