Michael Bartlow

Michael Bartlow, 72, of Canton, Ohio passed away on May 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Laura (Houck) Bartlow and his father Robert J. Bartlow and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother John R. Bartlow (Ann Bartlow), niece Barbara Wilson, nephew John M. Bartlow (Sheila Bartlow) and great niece Maura Bartlow. Michael loved the Lord and with the help of special friends he was able to attend Alliance Christian Center for the past several years During his life, Michael was employed at Goodwill and also attended workshops for the disabled in Dayton and Canton. He loved going to work, never missing a day and received awards for his hard work and dedication. Even though Michael was born with a disability, he never let that discourage him from living life to the fullest. For many years he lived independently with minimal assistance. He enjoyed traveling, swimming and bowling. When he needed to move into a group home, he didn't complain. So many of his caregivers loved him and became his friends. Michael was known for his smile and his laugh and loved by many. He will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, 7217 National Road, Brookville, Ohio 45309.
