Michael Joel Landis

Age 63, of Carlisle, passed away on May 24, 2024. He was born May 10, 1961 and the son of Kenneth and Gloria Landis. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Landis, his brother Terry Landis, partner of 10 years Deborah Brown Snow, and brother-in-law, Michael O’Hair.

Michael is survived by his mother, Gloria Landis; siblings Cinda Sizemore (Wayne), Karen Arnold (Herb), Cheryl O’Hair, and Jolene Church (Alan); his wife JaKenda Landis; son, Scott Landis (Ashley), daughter, Ashten Landis; grandchildren Brenden Landis, Colton Landis, Brooklyn “Paige” Landis, Carson Landis, Caitlin Landis, Braxton Landis, Peyton Landis-Smith, and Jaxon Landis.

He was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed going to multiple home and away games each year, enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, and Nascar. He enjoyed travelling to many places like the beach, the Rocky Mountains, and had a passion for cars. He was a mechanic at Walker Auto Group for nearly 40 years and loved his job. He loved going out with friends and family to places like the Miamisburg Moose.

Funeral services were held for family and close friends at Rogers  Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11am and procession to Calvary Cemetery followed.

There will be a visitation from 5:30pm until the start of the Celebration of Life service at 6:00pm on FRIDAY, JUNE 28TH at Trotwood Church of the Brethren. A light meal will follow.
