O’HAIR, Michael Eugene

Age 71, of New Lebanon, Ohio born March 29th, 1951 and was freed from pain after a long illness on February 22nd, 2023.

He was preceded in death by: father, Roscoe Leslie O’Hair; Mother; Etta (Spencer) O’Hair both from Wolfe County, Kentucky; Brother, Rondal R. O’Hair from Eaton, Ohio; Sister, Sandra (O’Hair) Halcolm from Campton, Kentucky; Son, Michael Eugene O’Hair, 11, from New Lebanon, Ohio.

Survived by: Wife; Cheryl (Landis) O’Hair; sons; Trenten O’Hair and Dustin (Holly Christophel) O’Hair; grandson, Aiden O’Hair; special daughter, Sarah (Foster) Moore; Brothers; James O’Hair, Marcus (Tracy) O’Hair, and David O’Hair; Sister, Terry O’Hair; Brother-in-law; Michael Landis; Sisters in law; Cinda (Carlin Wayne) Sizemore, Karen (Herbert) Arnold, Jolene Landis; and numerous nieces and nephews "all his tiny little guys."

He was a US Air Force Veteran. Worked in law enforcement, was a very passionate woodworker, a mill worker and worked hard in building and remodeling. He also loved fishing, hunting, camping, playing guitar, horses, dogs, motorcycles and  both sky and scuba diving. Michael was a very kind loving and giving man. He rarely had an enemy. If you know the saying, “give until it hurts,” he gave generously and it never hurt him.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00am at St. Kateri Preserve on Thursday, March 2nd. His son, Michael's Urn will be interred as well. If you would like to follow in procession please meet at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon at 10am.
