Michael David Sherrill, born on December 28, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away at home on November 8, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a skilled mechanic who had a deep passion for building buggies, go-carts, and anything with a motor. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, relishing moments spent fishing with his best friend, Terry, and working in his yard.

Michael had a distinctive personality that molded his interests and hobbies. He found joy in shopping at liquidation stores and was an enthusiast of CB and Ham radios. Riding his Harley was another love of his, reflecting the adventurous spirit he carried throughout his life. He was known as a dedicated workaholic, a trait that defined him even in his final days.

Michael leaves behind his son, Michael David Sherrill, II; his daughter, Misty Dawn Hale; his sister, Tammy Sherrill; along with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who will remember him fondly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Sherrill; father, Grove "Doc" Sherrill; brother, Steve Sherrill; and sister, Tina Sherrill.

Visitation for Michael will be held on November 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Homes, located at 324 W Main St, New Lebanon, OH 45345. This will be followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, concluding with burial at Bear Creek Cemetery in Dayton, OH.

Michael David Sherrill's spirited presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
