Millie (Jackson) Ward

WARD, Millie (Jackson) age 98 of New Lebanon passed away Friday March 21, 2014 peacefully at home. Millie was born in Van Lear, KY on March 14, 1916 to Luther and Mary Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband (Carlos), parents, three brothers, one sister, son-in-law and her great granddaughter Mary Beth and great grandson Nicholas. Mille was the domestic matriarch that held her family together. She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughters Mary (Roy) Cockrell, Sharon Pennington, grandchildren Leisa McDaniel, Patricia (Adrian) Perez, Leslie Pennington, great grandchildren Brandon, Shannon and Ashley McDaniel, Matthew and Christopher Perez, Mason Pennington and her newest great-great grandson Aiden McDaniel. She will be remembered and missed everyday. The Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25 from 1PM to 3PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 3PM with Pastor Donnie Smith, officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria. In lieu of flowers contributions if desired may be made to the Hospice of Dayton in her memory.
