Morris J. "Woody" Woodson

WOODSON, Morris "Woody" J. Of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. Woody was born November 28, 1924 in Leonville, LA to Colda and Aleta Woodson. He was preceded in death by a son, Tony J. Woodson; parents; 9 brothers; and 3 sisters. Woody is survived by his wife, Ella B. Woodson; daughter, Belinda K. Combs; son, Eddie (Becky) Woodson; step-son, Sidney (Sue) Manley; 1 sister, Lucille Bourque; 5 grandchildren, Dalton Woodson, Cassidy Woodson, Levi Woodson, Josh Blevins, and Shawn Blevins; 2 great-grandchildren, Payton Blevins and Charlie Blevins. The Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon with the Funeral Service to begin at 1PM. Burial will follow at Bear Creek-Hillgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Woody's memory may be made to Heartland Hospice.
