Nancy Thompson

Nancy Thompson, affectionately known as "Jean-O" and "Big Girl," passed away peacefully at home in New Lebanon, Ohio on February 15, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on January 28, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, Nancy's remarkable life touched everyone she met.

Nancy devoted twenty fulfilling years of her career to MidWest Fasteners in Miamisburg, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues. After her retirement, Nancy embraced family life with great joy; she took immense pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow and thrive.

Holidays were especially cherished moments for Nancy, known for her famous pumpkin roll that brought warmth and happiness to family gatherings. Her vibrant personality, coupled with a good sense of humor and infectious laughter, made every moment spent with her a delight. She loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her husband, John, and their family.

In her leisure time, Nancy enjoyed crafting and losing herself in books, often finding peace in her creative pursuits. Additionally, she had a particular fondness for visiting the beach and collecting frog figurines, which reflected her whimsical side.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, John Thompson; her daughter, Tiffany (Travis); her sons, John Ryan (Shelly) and Corey (Anne); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Codie (Haley), Faith (Josh), Austin (Madi), Blake, Caden (Lily), Trent, Noah, Paige, and Stormie. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Beckham, Layton, and Colby.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Curran; her mother, Carolyn Curran; her brother, Raymond; and her sister, Joyce. Nancy's legacy will live on through her family, who will carry her memory and the love she shared with them in their hearts.
