Nancy Louise (Bailey) Warrix, born on October 23, 1951, in Middletown, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Nancy dedicated over 20 years of her career working at General Motors, where she formed lifelong friendships and made cherished memories. Alongside her professional achievements, she enjoyed a rich personal life filled with interests and hobbies. Nancy loved to travel, especially to the beach, which brought her great joy. Gardening was another of her passions, and she took pride in nurturing her plants. She also had a keen eye for home renovations and decorating, and she was particularly proud of her stunning red 1998 Corvette, which she purchased brand new.
She is survived by her children: Lesa (Jack) Barnett, Kenneth Warrix II, and Michelle Powell; her brother, Phillip Bailey; and her nine grandchildren: Rodney Marshall, Priscilla Marshall, Shelby Powell, Kayla Glaser, Jamie Warrix, Jessica Kurtz, Jessie Warrix, Cody Warrix, and Morgan Warrix, along with many more family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Frances (Locke); her husband, Kenneth Warrix; her son, Jesse Warrix; her brothers, Gary and Bill Bailey; her sister, Faye Banks; her grandson, Kenneth Warrix III; and her granddaughter, Trista Powell.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
