WENGER, Naomi G. Age 106 ½ of Trotwood, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Naomi was born in Phillipsburg, Ohio on June 4, 1910 to her parents Ezra & Emma Mae (Arnett) Siebert, who precede her in death along with her husband, Joseph Wenger; daughter, Shirley Wenger, brother, Ralph Siebert; and sister, Ruth Beck. Naomi is survived by her son, Dale (Martha, nee Royer) Wenger of Upland, IN; grandson, Mark (Ruth) Wenger of Howell, MI; granddaughter, Debbie (Keith) Harvey of Decatur, IN; 5 great-grandchildren, Daniel (Hannah) Wenger, Luke Wenger, Sarah Wenger, Joel Harvey, and Kristen Harvey; and numerous other extended family members and friends. Naomi was a homemaker for many years. She will be remembered for her holiday get-together's and the wonderful food she would prepare as she was a great cook. Naomi enjoyed traveling with her family, reading, doing puzzles, and quilting. She was a longtime member of Trotwood Church of the Brethren. Naomi was a great mother to her children and will be dearly missed. Special thank you to the staff at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville for their care and support. She was known at the retirement community for being able to recite all the books of the bible and the beginning of her high school Valedictorian speech from 1928. Visitation will be held on from 10-11 AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 10. 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trotwood Church of the Brethren, 208 E. Main.
