Nasya Myree Morgan

MORGAN, Nasya Myree Age 5 of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 23, 2009 to her loving parents, Reggie & Kathy (Hipple) Morgan, Jr. Nasya was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ray & Louise Vane; great-grandmother, Mary Jane Hipple; and her uncle, Lavon Morgan. She is survived by her parents, Reggie and Kathy; 2 brothers, Austin & Caleb Simpson; great-grandmother, Melva Rivers; great-grandpa, Herb Hipple; grandparents, Steve & Leesa Hipple; grandmother, Valerie Bennett; grandfather, Reginald Morgan, Sr. (Kenya); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Nasya attended New Lebanon Dixie Elementary and made it 3 days into kindergarten. She competed with Cheer America, was a member with New Lebanon School of Dance; and was 1st runner-up at the Stage Coach Days Beauty Pageant. She loved daisies and sunflowers. Nasya fought a courageous battle with DIPG. Her legacy will live on through the donation of her tumor to help find a cure of DIPG. A visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at First Baptist Church of New Lebanon, 335 South Church St. 45345. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday also at the church. Pastor Stephen Betts will be officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the “Nasya Morgan Memorial Fund” at any Key Bank.
