Norma Lee Dillon

DILLON, Norma Lee Age 92 of New Lebanon, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born in Johnsville, Ohio on March 22, 1926 to her parents, Omar W. and Bessie (Wray) Frantz who have preceded her in death along with her loving husband of 71 years, Truman Dillon; son, Bruce Dillon; and sister, Orleeta Swift. Survived by her daughters, Karen (Larry) Moore, and Cheryl Dillon; sons, Lee (Pam) Dillon, and Mark (Debi) Dillon; daughter-in-law, Sandy Dillon; sisters-in-law, Violet Paullus, and Hazel Dillon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Norma was a longtime member of New Lebanon United Methodist Church where she served in several capacities. In her younger years, she worked at Wright Patterson AFB; and eventually became a mail carrier then Postmaster at the New Lebanon Post office. Norma loved to travel, especially to Lakeside at Lake Erie, Texas and out west. She also enjoyed playing cards, Dominos, and Bingo. Norma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, January 27th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. There will also be visitation from 10 to 11 AM prior to the funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, January 28th, also at Rogers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery.
