Norma Jean Eberg

EBERG, Norma Jean Age 82 of Englewood, formerly of Trotwood, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012. She was born Oct. 6, 1930 to her parents, Thomas & Allie (Dickerson) Maggard in Beaver, Ohio. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years, James Russell; son, Jeffrey R. Eberg; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. Norma is survived by her daughter, Debi (Mark) Tamplin; 3 sisters, Wanda (Merritt) Rapp, Louella Riley, and Allene Galiher; daughter-in-law, Betsy Eberg; 3 grandchildren, Kelli, Josh, and Seth Myers; dear friends, Sue, Claudine, & Pat; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Norma was a member of Happy Corner Church in Englewood, a retired 5/3 Bank Teller, and a wonderful member of the Northmont community. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Happy Corner Church of the Brethren, 7037 N. Union Rd., Clayton, OH 45315, with Pastors Trent Smith and Chuck Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Trotwood. The Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Rogers' Funeral Home, Trotwood, 110 W. Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in memory of Norma.
