Opal L. Howard

HOWARD, Opal L. Age 81, of Eaton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Grandview Hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1931 in Camden, Ohio, to the late William B. and Ora (Gabbard) Flinchum. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Howard, in 1980; a son, Donald A. Owens, in 1952; a daughter, Linda L. Owens in 1998; her parents, and siblings, Earsie M. McElwee, Luther D. Flinchum, Raymond V. Flinchum, and Gladys M. Werts She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Craig) Dawson of West Alexandria; grandson, Roger (Sarah) Dawson of DeWitt, Iowa; and granddaughter, Holly Dawson of West Alexandria. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria.
