LOER, Ora Age 89, of Farmersville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 30, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born May 7, 1927 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Willie P. and Rachel (Bellamy) Spicer. Ora was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Mervin Smith; second husband, Jack Loer; brothers, Paul, James, and Raymond Spicer; beloved twin sister, Cora McIntosh; and sisters, Helen Fern Manning and Clara Sanders. She is survived by her children, Sherry Keener and her husband Ron, G. Michael Smith and his wife Kelli, Jeffrey M. Smith and his wife Jaclyn, and Jacqueline Smith-Egelston and her husband Ben; grandchildren, Steven Brightwell, Angela Smith, Kacy Ballard, Brian Smith, Cody Smith, Mikayla Smith, Carly Reynolds, Ethan Smith, Jami Shell, and Suzi Millhouse; great grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Lucy Shell, Elly Shell, Liberty Shell, Xavier Millhouse, Luke Smith, Juliana Smith, Jill Ballard, and Nicolas Ballard; sister, Elizabeth Butler; former daughter-in-law and dear friend, Carol Ewald; step children, Debra (Dick) Bishop, Michelle (Bernie) Farwell, Bethany (Jim) Dillow, and Jack Loer Jr. Ora had a passion for cooking and entertaining and was the manager of Woody’s Bakery in West Carrollton. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
