Patrick Raymond Thrush

Patrick Raymond Thrush born April 25, 2003 at Miami Valley hospital to biological mother Melissa Myers has passed away peacefully at home as a result of life long medical issues on June 5, 2022. Patrick grew up in New Lebanon with his "Mama Catie" Catrina Hater, "Aunt Debi" Deborah Hater, brother Chad "CJ" Thrush Jr., sister Deidra Thrush and uncle William "Bill" Myers. It took a village to raise Patrick which included his Aunt Clare, Clarissa Mankin (Noah Mankin), Aunt Candi, Candice Black (Casey Black), many cousins Kyra Black, Alexa Black, Kassandra Mankin, Devonna "Devon" Mankin, and Daniel "Danny" Mankin. He is also survived by numerous other family members including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Patrick loved going on cruises with his family, singing on car rides and at home with Catie, flicking the light switches on and off, sword fitting every ceiling fan with a pool noodle, going on walks and all things lights and cords. He was loved by everyone that met him. He was a shining star that loved the light. Anyone who knew him was a better person for meeting him. The family would like to thank all the teachers, staff, bus drivers, aides at New Lebanon Schools and Montgomery County Learning Center, the doctors and nurses at Dayton Children's Hospital and numerous other people throughout his life. Patrick is now walking into heaven being met with the open arms of his great grandma Devonna Myers. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-5pm with memorial service following at 5:00pm of Friday, June 10, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to share memories.
