Paul R. Diehl

DIEHL, Paul Russell Age 77 of Brookville, passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell R. and Evangeline (Kinsey) Diehl; 1 sister, Mary Rohrer, 1 brother, Dale Diehl; and 1 step-son, Rickey Adkins. Paul is survived by his wife, Bertie; brother, David (Margaret) Diehl; brother-in-law, Dean Rohrer; 6 children, Wilma Jean (David) Barnes, Susan Gill, Lester Ray (Beth) Diehl, Faye (Ralph) Groom, Ronald (Celeste) Diehl, and Paul James Diehl; also step-daughter Debbie (Rick) Baxley; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 2 step-grandchildren; and 5 step- great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, NEW LEBANON with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
