Pauline Cole

Pauline Cole passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the age of 92 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Owsley County, KY on November 5, 1929 to her parents, Alfred & Pearl (Thompson) Taylor. She married Fred Dale, her beloved husband of 62 years and lived a significant portion of their life together in London, KY. She moved to Dayton, Ohio, to live with her family the last few years. Her family remembers her as a loving mother and grandmother, and for her kind and empathetic heart. She loved gardening, preparing meals and taking walks. She was a member of New Lebanon Church of Christ In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 4 brothers Leo, Elmo, Henry and Charles Taylor and a sister Geraldine Bushelman. She is survived by her brother Douglas Taylor of South Carolina; her 2 children Melvin Cole of Dayton and Patricia Pressel of Dayton; by 3 grandchildren Julie Hegerty of Covington KY, Laura Pressel of Dayton, and Amanda Pressel of Dayton; by 3 great-grandchildren Alex Hegerty of Covington, KY, Erik Hegerty of Covington, KY and Carston Hardwick of Dayton. Visitation will be held from 2-3pm with funeral service to follow at 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon, Ohio. Burial will take place at Hensley Cemetery in Riceville, KY Wednesday at 2:00pm. Service will be streamed online at: www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
