PHILLIPS, Penny Sue

Age 61 of New Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 24, 1961 to her parents, Charles & Edna (Mullins) Chasteen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Chasteen; and 2 nephews, Jeffrey Steele and David Dalton.

Penny is survived by her husband of 45 years, Greg Phillips; daughter, Jenny (Jason) Howland; son, Steven (Leah) Phillips; sister, Charlotte Haines and Sharon (Darrell) Steele; grandchildren, Roland (Mykali), Hunter, and Jacelyn Howland, Evie Phillips, and Nevaeh McCleary; 2 special companion dogs, Abby and Atticus; and several special nieces and nephews.

Penny was a lover of animals, especially horses. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at 2:00pm at Dayton National Cemetery. Condolence may be expressed online at www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
