Age 71 of Dayton passed away after a sudden illness on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Linvel Adams; sister, Marjorie (Gilbert) Minard; brothers, Earl (Caroline) Adams, and Bill Adams; and brother-in-law, Bob Halsey.

Phillip is survived by his wife of 53 years, Debra Adams; sons, Patrick & wife Nicki, Jason & wife Amelia, and Christopher & wife Nicole Adams; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Austin, Levi, and Ronan; sister, Nancy Halsey, sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy Adams, Sue Shade, Mary & Richard Hoskins, Jean & Jerry Carmichael, Marsha & Tracy Morris, Dallas & Debbie Baker, and Patricia & Gary Eichenlaub; and many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Phillips enjoyed fishing and old western movies. He worked for Walther Engineering and Manufacturing Company Inc.
