BUERSCHEN, PHYLLIS LOUISE (SENTER) Age 93, died peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018. Phyllis graduated from Parker Co-op High School in 1942, and retired from General Motors, Inland Division after 35 years of service as a Secretary in the Personnel Department. She was a long-time member of Precious Blood Parish. Phyllis will always be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, gentle spirit and love of life. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Louis and Loretta (Nevius) Senter and her loving, kind and devoted husband, Elmer. They were married for nearly 71 years. Survived also by three nephews, Jim, Steve and Jeff Buerschen. Special thanks to Margaret and Bob Gottschlich, John Rindler, June Schindler and Mary Ann Pera for their love and support over the years and thru difficult times. Also, thanks to caregivers: Lonnie Allen, Anita Smith, Dae Smith and Anita Muse. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Precious Blood Church, 4961 Salem Avenue, Dayton, OH. Gathering will be from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Church prior to Mass. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Church, Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45420, or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Rogers Funeral Home in Trotwood.
