Rachel V. (Voyls) Baltes

BALTES, Rachel V. (Voyls) Rachel passed away after a long and courageous fight against lung cancer. She was a very strong and courageous individual and an inspiration to all. Rachel is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Kristopher Jon and Kelsey Joy; her parents, Donald Voyls and Jackie and Roger Davis; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Sandy, and Michael Voyls. Rach was known as a truly chosen child, born in Cincinnati, Ohio and adopted in Dayton. She lived most of her life in Beavercreek, with her final residence in Arcanum. Rachel spent the last 15 years working for Trotwood Fire and Rescue, a career she loved. The visitation will be on Saturday, August 24 from 10AM to 2PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood with Trotwood Fire and Rescue Honor Guard will be on hand. The Memorial Service will begin at 2PM. A Celebration of Life will follow the ceremony at the West Milton Eagles. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to State of the Heart Hospice or American Lung Association in Rachel's memory.
